Only 30 days left of the The Hats for Alex Fall Challenge! Have you sent in your hats yet? If so, then thank you! If not, it's time to get on the yarn ball and knit up a few tothead covers! Why? Because you just might win some fab stuff, that's why!
More on the prizes in a second. But first, here's a little update to the challenge -- initially, all I asked was that you knit at least three hats and send them to Pam (aka trillian42) by October 31st* for her wonderful charity, Hats for Alex.
Now, you'll get an extra entry for EVERY three hats you knit! That's right, for EVERY three hats you send to Pam, you'll get your name thrown into the ring to win your choice of two fab prizes:
A skein of much-lusted Yarn Pirate in the gorgeous colorway Wildflowers.
OR a pair of 5" bamboo purse handles and 12 beautiful Entrelec Dangle-free Stitch Markers.
Now seriously, how much easier could it be? Just knit up three baby hats, send them to Pam by October 31st, and voila! You could end up winning some su-weet swag for your stash.
As of Saturday, the count was up to 181. Great effort so far! But she still needs another 69 hats to hit her goal of 250. And remember -- if we can get her there by October 31st, I'll give away BOTH prizes!
So c'mon, get those hats off to Pam and spread the juju!

Those are some sweet prizes. I've got like 12 hats, but since I've been knitting a hat a week since March, I'd rather not be included in the contest.
Although--it's MIGHTY tempting to send in my hat stash just to get her to 250 by the end of the month. But I also want to make sure I fill the shoebox first!
