Juju Challenge Winners!
Well, I was going to use a hat to draw the winners, but there were so many entries, they just wouldn't fit!
A big, huge thank you to EVERYONE who participated in the Hats for Alex Fall Challenge! Thanks to your amazing response, Pam went from 116 hats at the start of the challenge to 381 hats at last count! 381!!!
You people are just so freakin' cool and wonderful and... oh, I can't even begin to describe. So many happy little babies are going to benefit from your efforts! Please, keep on knitting hats and sending them in to Pam. Whether you knit one or twenty-one, each and every one is a much, much appreciated gift.
And now, on to the winners! Since you all rock my world, I will as promised give away both prizes!
Challenge Prize #1
First up is an oh-so-beautiful hank of much-lusted-after Yarn Pirate in Wildflowers. And the winner is...AKKnitter!
Challenge Prize #2
Next up is a set of 12 gorgeous Entrelec Dangle-free Stitch Markers plus two 5" bamboo purse handles. This one goes to...Katie K!
But wait, there's more - thanks to some generous knittyheads, we actually have three more prizes to give away!
Challenge Prize #3, in honor of blu roux's Aunt Olga
The blogless blu roux generously donated two balls of pink Fable Baby Alpaca in honor of her Aunt Olga, who passed away in July. (The last baby hats she knitted were also donated to the Hats for Alex project.) And the winner is... KnitMongrel!

Challenge Prize #4
This prize was donated by the fabulous carrieknits - a gorgeous hank of Artyarns Ultramerino 6 in colorway #128! And the winner is...Fran! (Who I believe is AKKnitter's mom?)

Challenge Prize #5
Last but most definitely not least, this prize was donated by the lovely Pam herself - a hank of Mountain Colors Bearfoot in Steelhead! And the winner is...Rachel!

Congratulations to all five winners! You'll be contacted shortly regarding stash enhancement arrangements.
And thank you again to everyone who knitted hats during the challenge - and all year round. You make such a difference with your generosity, so let's keep on spreading the good juju! :)

How fun! Knittys rule!
Dude, she's gonna hit 400 for sure!!!! Hooray for good juju pushing it to that number!
Can I just tell you that you crack me up? My socks are so going to be called Monbras from now on. And thanks for your compliments on my CPH.
Hope the sickness is letting up (if only so you can stop taking the Nyquil!).
Gorgeous yarn, and such a great cause!
I'm leaving the comment anonymously because it feels just a tad tacky. I'm one of the winners and it couldn't come at a better time for me (when I haven't been feeling much like a winner). Have you e-mailed the winners yet since I haven't gotten anything and now I'm worrying that maybe my mailer decided to throw it out as trash. I guess that says something about how things have been going lately.
Those hat numbers are fabulous! What a wonderful thing! The prizes were lovely, of course, but what a truly wonderful opportunity to do heart-felt charity knitting.
Great job to you too for encouraging us all to spread the juju!! Congrats to everyone!!
