Looky what I just gooooot! That be a zipper foot. (Not just a regular zipper foot. An adjustable zipper foot. Eeeeee!)
You know what that means? It means I'll be sewing a zipper into my second Central Park Hoodie this weekend. Yes, I'm sewing a zipper into my knitting. Pray for me.
Wowza! Go you! Ok, seeing the foot you have, make sure you move your needle to the right or left on your machine. Meaning those 2 cut out areas, you will be using one or the other. If you let the needle go down the middle like usual, um..you'll break it. Ask me how I know that ;) Sending you good zipping vibes!!!

please post step-by-step detail on this endeavour. I really dont want buttons in mine (I think...) A zipper would be so much nicer!
Brave girl! I haven't combined knitting and sewing yet... hope it goes well!

Adventure! Intrigue! My fingers are crossed for you. It's going to be great.
I can't wait to see how it comes out= I might just take some hope I can sew a zipper into my CPH!
It's not that scary. If I can do it on a Chunky weird-ass pattern I pulled out of my butt, certainly you can do it to your nicely crafted CPH!
I hope you took pictures, because I haven't the foggiest idea how that contraption helps you to sew in a zipper.
I hope it went well! Cant wait for the results!!
