It's like Dawson's Creek all over again...
I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, so I expanded my library search yesterday and found the only copy of this in the tri-city area that hadn't been checked out/placed on hold until the end of time:
Yes, I almost knocked over three 14-year-olds to grab this off the "Young Adult" Fiction shelf before they could.
And proceeded to read it straight through. In one day. I hate to admit it, but now I'm hooked.
Daaaaahhhhhhhmit.

for me, twilight is the new da vinci code. i haven't read either and i hope i never will.
I can't help it, I loved it too. There is something so sweet about the love story... Like Tuck Everlasting, my favorite book of all time. (That makes me sound like I am 11. I'm not....) :-)
Nope. Won't. Not me. Will NOT cave to temptation. Dammit.
hehehe... I heart Edward.
At sock camp last week, everytime I saw signs for Port Angeles, La Push, Forks, etc. I kept squeeing with delight! But no no no, we didn't actually go there.
Okay, and book four...took me forever, because I just couldn't get with the teen lit anymore. It took me being in the PNW last week to finish it!
I really enjoyed it! I ended up listening to the last 3 on CD and totally enjoyed it.
I'm with Knottygnome. That's one bandwagon that can leave me in the dust!
LOL- it is very addictive, isn't it? Did you start looking for the second one?
hehe...I'm stuck on 3, just can't get into it. I think so far 1 is the best.
Can I say? Told ya so! ;-) Just get ready to have your heart ripped out in "New Moon" (but don't worry, it ends okay.)
